Final movie shoot

Today we had a very exiting day of shooting the last sequences. We went to the tech-lab of the Berlin university and had a look into the evolution of the flying disc in front of a very powerful windchannel. This was maybe the first time to get a pie-tin into a tech-lab.

  1. I just got turned on to your great project and am so sad that my dad, Steady Ed, isn’t here to see it and help you out with some stories! I’m sure you have plenty of stories though, from the millions of folks around the world who love the toy, the sport, the therapy the plastic discs gives to them!
As I viewed your preview, I sensed there wasn’t much about Steady Ed’s contribution to the excitement and enthusiastic embrace the world shows Frisbees, Disc, etc. His promotion of the many “sports” that could be played with the Frisbee were his life’s work and goal, finally culminating in his Disc Golf business shared with and brought to the world with much devotion.
I look forward to seeing your documentary and thank you for getting the job done! Great commitment and creative endeavor.

    Best wishes,
    Valerie Headrick

  2. Hi Valerie,

Don’t worry. Your dad will definetly a part in the movie. As you say the enthousiasts started all the great devellopments. And Steady Ed for sure was one of a kind. Too bad his soul was already way futher than the rooftop when we came to visit DGA and Farina.
