TIS at SLOIFF in March

Dear Californian Disc Lovers,

The Invisible String stays in California for more screenings at festivals: The next one is in San Luis Obispo, the home of PipCo – for those who are familiar with the fine history of that flying device. For those who are not familiar: Go, watch and enjoy TIS!

Here are the next screening dates for California at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival (SLOIFF)

Thursday, March 7 at 7pm at Downtown Cinemas, San Luis Obispo

Saturday, March 9 at 4pm at Avila Beach Community Center, Avila Beach

The hosts with the most will be the representing protagonists and icons of their own: TK and Skippy.

For the Avila Beach showing Mr. Frisbee Dan ‘The Stork’ Roddick joins Skippy and TK for an Q&A that should not be missed.

  1. There are two high schools in San Luis Obispo County competing in FIRST Robotics. This year’s challenge involves the robot being able to toss frisbees into a slotted goal. The robot is unable to be accessed until after competition ends in April, but prototypes may be available to demonstrate the skill. If you provide the frisbees, the robot can deliver them to the audience!
